India, Feb. 7 -- A fire broke out in a residential neighborhood of San Bruno, California, on Friday afternoon, prompting city officials to issue an alert around 4 p.m. urging residents to avoid the Rosewood Drive area.
San Bruno Fire Department posted on Facebook, "The San Bruno Police Department and San Bruno Fire Department are handling an active incident in the area of Rosewood Drive. We ask that you stay out of the area and use alternate routes until further notice. Thank you."
Photos and videos from the scene show massive plumes of smoke. According to KTVU, at least one structure has been completely destroyed.
