MEERUT, Feb. 20 -- The Sambhal police have filed an over 4,000-page chargesheet against 79 arrested individuals in connection with the November 24, 2024, violence during protests against the Jama Masjid survey. The chargesheet, submitted in the Chief Judicial Magistrate's court on Thursday, names Dubai-based international auto-lifter as the mastermind behind the unrest.

The accused face charges of rioting, arson, and firing, with investigations revealing links to organized crime and foreign funding.
