Mumbai, Feb. 1 -- A facial recognition test has confirmed that the face of the 30-year-old Bangladeshi man arrested for allegedly stabbing actor Saif Ali Khan matched with the person seen in at least 25 CCTV footage from the actor's building as well as the route taken by the accused to flee after the crime earlier this month, police officers familiar with the matter said on Friday.
Khan was stabbed six times by an intruder at his residence in Satguru Sharan building in Bandra on January 16. Three days later, the police arrested Shariful Islam Shehzad Fakir, a Bangladeshi national, in connection with the attack.
