India, Dec. 12 -- The Indian Rupee declined to a record low on Friday, as investor sentiment on the currency remained bogged down by the absence of an India-US trade deal while likely portfolio outflows added to the pressure.
The rupee weakened to 90.5175 against the US dollar. The exchange rate slipped past its previous all-time low of 90.46 hit on 11 December.
This is a developing story. More to come.
