Rss offshoot opposes BJP-led MP govt's land pooling Policy
NEW DELHI, Sept. 4 -- The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), an offshoot of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has opposed the Madhya Pradesh government's proposal for pooling of land in Ujjain to create permanent infrastructure such as rest houses for visitors to the Simhastha Kumbh that will be organised in the city in 2028, pointing out that the land acquisition would adversely impact farmers in the area.
In a letter to chief minister Mohan Yadav, BKS general secretary Mohini Mohan Mishra said, "If permanent constructions are made, but more visitors than anticipated turn up, then it will be a difficult task for the administration to manage the crowds.
