New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- Commuters heading to Delhi's Garden of Five Senses may soon experience a safer and smoother ride, with the Public Works Department (PWD) floating a tender to repair and maintain the damaged roundabout leading to the park in Said-Ul-Azaib village, near Mehrauli. The project, estimated at Rs.29.5 lakh, was tendered on Saturday. PWD has set a two-month completion deadline. Planned work includes road excavation, concrete laying, smoothing of the surface, replacement of existing pavement blocks with old PWD-supplied ones, and installation of cement road barriers to separate traffic lanes-currently missing from the stretch.
