Udaipur, Aug. 24 -- A political slugfest erupted in Rajasthan on Saturday after allegations were raised by representatives from Badgaon panchayat in Udaipur district, claiming that around 700 voters have been registered under the same address. The district administration, however, rejected the allegations based on a preliminary investigation, adding that a detailed probe is underway.
Badgaon panchayat samiti member Bhuvnesh Vyas, in a complaint, had claimed that 700 voters were registered under a single house in Bandinal area of Gogunda assembly constituency.
