India, March 11 -- The Telangana government on Tuesday deployed a robot to assist the ongoing rescue operations for tracing the remaining seven persons trapped under the debris in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Nagarkurnool district, which partially collapsed on February 22.

An official statement said on the 18th day of rescue operations, representatives from Hyderabad-based Anvi Robotics, Vijay and Akshay, entered the tunnel via a loco train on Tuesday morning, along with the robot, equipped with an AI-based camera system.
