New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- An 87-year-old retired officer from the Delhi development Authority (DDA) was injured on Wednesday morning after an unidentified assailant attacked him with a sharp object during his morning walk near Deer Park in southwest Delhi, police said Sunday. No arrests have been made yet. The victim, Harchandi Singh, a resident of Munirka, told police that he was reaching Gate No 8 of Deer Park around 5.30am when a man stopped him and asked if he had a mobile phone. Singh refused and the accused allegedly pushed him into the bushes and took Rs.900 cash from his bag and a Titan wristwatch.
