Srinagar, April 27 -- The residences of four suspected terrorists were demolished by security personnel in South Kashmir in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, people aware of the matter said on Saturday.

The houses of Shahid Ahmed Kutay in Chotipora area of Shopian, Zakir Ahmad Gania in Matalhama area of Kulgam, and Ahsan ul Haq Sheikh in Muran area of Pulwama were demolished on Friday, officials said. A day later, the residence of Farooq Teedwa in Kalaroos area of Kupwara was demolished.

"The houses were damaged by IED blasts during operations," a senior police officer said on condition of anonymity.
