Srinagar, May 30 -- Handwara legislator and Peoples Conference (PC) chief Sajad Lone warned about the current trajectory of reservation policies in Jammu and Kashmir and its long-term societal consequences as the issue prepares to resurface for discussion.

"The issue of reservations is all set to come up for discussion again. I will be honest. I don't have a lot of hope," Lone stated. "The committee formed by the present government is a typical run of the mill, time buying, excuse-making bureaucratic gibberish.
