India, Nov. 12 -- The Union Cabinet on Wednesday condemned the deadly car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort that killed 10 people, describing it as a "heinous terror incident perpetrated by anti-national forces" and directed that the investigation ensure that the perpetrators, their collaborators, and their sponsors are identified and brought to justice without delay.

In a resolution passed at its meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union cabinet also reaffirmed the "government's steadfast resolve to safeguard the lives and well-being of all Indians, consistent with its enduring commitment to national security and the safety of every citizen."
