GAYAJI, Feb. 4 -- The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP), during a joint action under Operation WILEP to combat the smuggling of wildlife, forest products and contraband through railway networks, recovered a Red Sand Boa worth rupees one crore from Gaya railway station on Tuesday night.
Rail police also arrested two wildlife smugglers who had brought the rare snake from Prayagraj on Howrah-Jodhpur Superfast Express and had to deliver it to someone in Gaya Ji, officials said.
