Hyderabad, March 29 -- In a big setback to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), senior leader and Rajya Sabha member K Kesava Rao on Thursday announced that he will quit the party and return to the Congress.

Along with Kesava Rao, his daughter and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi will also be joining the party.

While Vijayalakshmi told reporters that she will be joining the Congress on March 30, Rao said he is yet to decide on the date of joining the party.

Along with Vijayalakshmi, former BRS minister A Indra Karan Reddy and former MP G Aravind Reddy will also join the Congress, he said.
