New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday asked the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to cut down the time "between research and prototype, prototype and testing, and testing and the final deployment of weapons and systems," underlining that timely induction of military hardware into the armed forces is the biggest parameter of its performance.
