India, June 28 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a "yellow alert" for Delhi on Saturday, warning of heavy rainfall over the next two hours in multiple areas including IGI Airport, Vasant Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, Kalkaji, Mehrauli, Tughlakabad, Chhattarpur, and surrounding regions.
On Saturday, Delhi registered a minimum temperature of 28.7degC, which is 0.8 degrees above the seasonal average, according to the IMD.
The department has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by rain for both Saturday and Sunday, with the day's maximum temperature likely to hover around 37degC.
At 8:30 am, the relative humidity in the city was recorded at 72 per cent.
