Patna, Oct. 19 -- Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi emerged as the key mediator in seat-sharing negotiations with the Mukesh Sahani-led Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) ahead of the Bihar elections, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said on Saturday. Speaking at the Hindustan Bihar Samagam 2025 in Patna, Bhattacharya recounted his talks with Sahani during seat-sharing discussions in the Grand Alliance. "You are fighting for the protection of democracy and the Constitution.
