New Delhi, April 15 -- The Public Works Department (PWD) has constituted a four-member project monitoring unit for the supervision and timely completion of several projects recently assigned to the department, officials said on Monday.

In an order, dated April 8, PWD's deputy secretary MK Nikhil mentioned, "A project monitoring unit is constituted for monitoring of various important works including timeline of important tenders, issues relating to air quality monitoring and dust mitigation measures, proposals to be sent to central government and other works assigned by the competent authority."
