Mohali, March 28 -- Punjab governor Gulab Chand Kataria led a Jan Yatra against drugs in Kharar on Thursday. The yatra was organised by the Shri Ram Mandir Ajj Sarovar Vikas Samiti. Kataria emphasised that Punjab has no place for drugs. He urged society to support the Punjab government's campaign to eliminate drugs and protect the rich heritage of the land.
Flagging off the awareness march from Shri Ram Bhawan, the governor highlighted Punjab's history of valour and sacrifice. He highlighted the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh's younger sons, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh. He stressed that Punjabis need to resist external forces attempting to weaken the community and actively participate in the fight against drugs.
