New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Lieutenant governor VK Saxena on Monday declared a public holiday for Guru Ravidas Jayanti on February 12.
All government offices, autonomous bodies and public sector undertakings under the Delhi government will remain shut on Wednesday, according to the orders.
Officials said that Guru Ravidas Jayanti was marked as a restricted holiday in Delhi that has been notified as a public holiday. Following LG's approval, the order was passed on Monday by joint secretary of the general administration department, Pradeep Tayal.
