Mohali, Dec. 17 -- The ongoing anti-encroachment drive being carried out by the Mohali municipal corporation (MC) and the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) is facing increasing political and public resistance, with the latest action in Phase 7 on Tuesday being temporarily halted following protests by residents.
The drive, conducted in compliance with a 2022 Punjab and Haryana high court order, has met opposition across several sectors since it began earlier this month.
