Shimla/Dharamshala, Jan. 3 -- Three students of a government college in Himachal Pradesh have been booked for ragging, while a professor at the institution has been booked for sexual harassment after a 19-year-old student died on December 26, police officers aware of the matter said on Friday. The father of the deceased, a second-year student at Government College Dharamshala, alleged that the accused had "harassed and levelled casteist remarks" at his daughter, even as college authorities maintained that no complaint related to ragging or sexual harassment was filed prior to her death. Meanwhile, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has taken cognisance of the matter and formed a fact-finding committee. P9
