Lucknow, March 7 -- A member of the pro-Khalistan outfit Babbar Khalsa International -- with alleged links to Pakistan's ISI -- was arrested on Thursday from Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh, police said, adding that the suspect was allegedly planning to carry out a terror attack during the recently concluded Maha Kumbh.

The suspect, identified as Lajar Masih from Punjab's Amritsar, was arrested around 3.20am during a joint operation by Uttar Pradesh STF and Punjab Police. Officers said that they also recovered a cache of arms from Masih, including three hand grenades and two gelatine rods and detonators.
