India, Feb. 13 -- The Central government on Thursday imposed President's Rule in violence-hit Manipur.
The development came days after Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh resigned from his post on Sunday.
Singh's decision came after nearly 21 months after ethnic violence that has killed over 250 and displaced several thousands scorched the northeastern province.
