India, Nov. 12 -- New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday issued an alert for a red Ford Ecosport car owned by Dr Umar Un Nabi, who is suspected of being the driver of the Hyundai i20 that exploded at rush hour in an arterial road near the Red Fort two days ago , killing at least 10 people.

"All police stations, as well as the UP and Haryana Police, have been alerted to search for this vehicle," said a Delhi police Special Cell officer.

The red Ecosport (DL10CK0458) was registered at the Rajouri Garden RTO, as per details available online. A person familiar with the matter told HT, "Police have asked the Delhi transport department to share details of all vehicles transferred in the last few months."
