India, July 9 -- Schools selected under the PM SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) scheme in Varanasi are implementing various initiatives of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and offering mentorship to other schools in the neighbourhood in a bid to upgrade the existing education infrastructure, officials said on Tuesday.
According to officials, teachers in PM SHRI schools are holding regular meetings with principals of nearby government schools to share best pedagogy practices aligned with NEP 2020 for improved attendance and enrolments of students.
