India, Dec. 10 -- Prime minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday held a telephonic conversation, in which they reaffirmed India's support for efforts towards peace in the region and the implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan.
The two leaders welcomed the ongoing progress in the India-Israel Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries, a government statement said.
"Both leaders expressed satisfaction at the continued momentum in India-Israel Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening these ties for mutual benefit," said a press release from Prime Minister's Office.
