India, July 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi met King Charles III at Sandringham House on Thursday as part of his official visit to the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, the King was presented with a tree to be planted in autumn, inspired by Modi's 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative, which promotes tree planting in honour of one's mother.
