India, Nov. 2 -- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is "controlled" by industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, and thereby undermines India's sovereignty and development. Addressing an election rally in Bihar's Begusarai, Gandhi also said Operation Sindoor-India's cross-border military action against terror camps in Pakistan in May 2025-was abruptly halted following a phone call from US President Donald Trump.
