PM meets leaders of SL, Mauritius and Slovakia
New Delhi, Feb. 21 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake discussed ways to deepen cooperation in energy, connectivity and infrastructure during a meeting on the margins of the AI Impact Summit on Friday.
Modi also held meetings with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Slovakian President Peter Pellegrini and Prince Alois of Liechtenstein.
Dissanayake, on his second visit to India since he became president, expressed gratitude for India's swift support for Sri Lanka in the aftermath of Cyclone Ditwah. The two leaders reviewed the progress in India's support for Sri Lanka's reconstruction through a $450-million aid package.
