India, July 28 -- Ben Stokes found himself in controversy on Day 5 of the fourth Test match as England and India settled for a draw. The visitors managed to recover from 0/2 at Old Trafford in the second innings, and then went past 311 to avoid the innings defeat just before Tea. All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar then batted for another hour and a half in the third session, which saw India's lead get to 75, when the mandatory final hour of the match was about to begin. As the game was heading for a sure draw, Stokes offered to shake hands for that, but Jadeja and Sundar, who were on 89 and 80 respectively, declined.
