New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- The Supreme Court on Friday turned down an application seeking permission to conduct Urs festival at a dargah in Gir Somnath district of Gujarat which was among a host of structures, including Hindu temples, demolished during an extensive drive against illegal encroachments on government land. "We do not feel the application needs to be entertained," said the bench headed by justice BR Gavai.P12
