MUMBAI, April 25 -- There is anger among people who are expecting a "strong response", Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Thursday while condemning the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives.
Addressing the Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award ceremony in Mumbai, the RSS chief said: "Strong people should always be secular, but at times they should show their power to remain powerful. We believe in peace but it does not mean that we should not be prepared with our military strength. We had to face a war in 1962 because of that mindset. Our Constitution is secular because it was written by the secular people here," he said.
