India, Feb. 25 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken "serious note" of the security breach during Monday's ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 fixture between New Zealand and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. For the uninitiated, a spectator entered the field during the Group A match and tried to hug New Zealand's all-rounder Rachin Ravindra.

The PCB revealed that the concerned individual had been arrested and appeared in court on Tuesday. He has also been banned from entering all cricket venues in Pakistan.
