Nagpur, Aug. 10 -- NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday called for an inquiry by the ECI into allegations of "electoral fraud" by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, to clear doubts about the integrity of elections. "...A detailed inquiry is needed into the concerns raised by him to clear doubts about the integrity of the electoral process among people," Pawar said.
Separately, Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah said he has directed the state legal department to investigate the allegations of "vote theft" in the recent Lok Sabha elections in the state. P6
