NEW DELHI, May 19 -- A 40-year-old cab driver was allegedly stabbed to death by a passenger following an argument over destination in Kanjhawala, Rohini on Thursday, police said on Saturday, adding that the accused has been arrested. The victim, Israfil (single name), a resident of a JJ Colony in Wazirpur, was a taxi driver and drove a Swift Dzire. Israfil had accepted a ride via a mobile app from Inderlok Metro Station at 11pm on Wednesday, police said. The accused, Rohit Kumar, (23), a resident of Jhajjar, told police he booked the taxi for Nizampur village. While drunk, he got into an argument over the route and stabbed Israfil, police said.
