India, May 7 -- The Indian army on Wednesday launched "Operation Sindoor", hitting "terrorist infrastructure" sites in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan in retaliation for the Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of 26 civilians.
