Ahmedabad, Nov. 26 -- A Pakistani couple, who allegedly crossed into India after eloping from their village, has been detained in Gujarat's Kutch district, police said on Tuesday, adding that a probe has been ordered into the incident. The couple, identified as Popat (24) and Gauri (20), belonged to the Sindh province of Pakistan, and has claimed that they fled to escape their families who opposed their relationship, officials aware of the details on Tuesday. The Border Security Force (BSF) intercepted the couple during an early morning patrol near border pillar number 1016 in the Khavda stretch of Kutch.
