Pak army chief makes nuclear threats in US
Washington, Aug. 11 -- Pakistan's Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir threatened military action towards India as well as nuclear devastation for the world in a speech delivered in the US this week, according to a report by ThePrint. Munir is currently in the United States for the second time this year to attend the retirement ceremony for General Michael Kurilla, the outgoing commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM).
"We are a nuclear nation, if we think we are going down, we'll take half the world down with us," Munir was quoted as saying during a dinner organised by members of the Pakistani diaspora in Tampa, Florida, according to the report.
