India, July 23 -- Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, passed away at the of 76, his family confirmed. His family confirmed in a statement released on his social media handles that Osbourne passed away in the morning of July 22, Wednesday, surrounded by his loved ones. Among the ones who signed the statement was his wife, Sharon Osbourne.
