India, July 22 -- Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 76, his family confirmed. Real name John Michael Osbourne, the Aston, Birmingham native was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019. However, in the statement released by his family, the cause of death of the legendary singer was not mentioned

"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the statement from his family read. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."
