New Delhi, July 3 -- The Delhi Police crime branch on Wednesday said they had seized 472 grams of opium disguised as ayurvedic "anardana" digestive tablets from a drug trafficker and a warehouse of a multinational logistics firm in Delhi. The drugs were part of a consignment headed to Canada. Lalit Ahuja alias Lucky and Harvinder Kumar alias Harsh Dawar-allegedly part of an international drug syndicate-were arrested from Ludhiana between May 24 and June 26, police said. "On May 22, our anti-gang squad raided the warehouse and recovered 465 grams of fine-quality opium tablets concealed inside ayurvedic digestives, hidden with clothes, chocolates, and other innocuous items," said DCP (Crime) Harsh Indora.
