Kolkata, Oct. 8 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday met injured BJP Lok Sabha member Khagen Murmu at a hospital in north Bengal's Siliguri even as the Lok Sabha secretariat sought a factual note in three days from the Union home ministry on Monday's attack on Murmu. Meanwhile, a BJP MLA, Manoj Oraon, was allegedly assaulted by TMC workers on Tuesday at a village in his Kumargram constituency in flood-hit Alipurduar district, the party alleged, saying Oraon was not injured.
