India, Sept. 3 -- Novak Djokovic had more than one reason to celebrate on Tuesday at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. After defeating crowd favourite Taylor Fritz 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 in the US Open quarterfinals, the 24-time Grand Slam champion marked the victory with a surprise and heartwarming dance performance inspired by his 8-year-old daughter, Tara.
The dance, drawn from the hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, was a nod to Tara, who celebrated her birthday the same day. Although she wasn't present at Flushing Meadows, Djokovic said the victory and the dance were his gifts to her.
