LUCKNOW, Aug. 15 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday asserted that no government school would be closed in the state, as alleged by the Opposition. During a marathon discussion on 'Vision-2047' in the assembly, Adityanath said, "The education system in the state has become stronger and more modern than before."

He announced that the schools that remain after pairing will be running Bal Vatika and pre-primary classes for children between three and six years, in which LKG, UKG and nursery will be taught.
