New Delhi, July 10 -- The Delhi government has not issued any directive to close meat shops during the Kanwar Yatra, minister Ashish Sood said on Tuesday, adding that people should respect public sentiments and each other's festivals. Addressing a press conference, Sood said preparations for the Kanwar route in Delhi have been made in coordination with Delhi Police, and the government would ensure that both the pilgrims and residents are not inconvenienced by traffic disruptions.
