Bengaluru, Nov. 6 -- The Madras high court on Wednesday directed police to not file a charge sheet against TVK general secretary Aadhav Arjuna-over an allegedly inflammatory social media post that appeared to call for a youth-led revolt against the Tamil Nadu government, similar to the uprisings in Sri Lanka and Nepal-until November 7.
A single judge bench of Justice AD Jagdish Chandira was hearing Arjuna's plea seeking the quashing of an FIR registered against him by the Chennai police in the case. The court posted the matter for further hearing on Friday. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi appeared for Arjuna, while senior advocate NR Elango appeared for police.htc
