Patna, Nov. 29 -- Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday released another tranche of Rs.10,000 to one million women under Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, an initiative of the state government to boost entrepreneurship among women. The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September, part of a mega welfare push by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government ahead of the assembly elections. So far, 15.6 million women have availed the benefits of the scheme, the CM said.
