New Delhi, April 11 -- The National Investigation Agency on Thursday presented several pieces of evidence, including emails sent by 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused Tahawwur Rana to his co-conspirator David Coleman Headley, as it sought the former's custody for 20 days.
The order of the NIA special court was awaited till the time of going to print.
The agency informed the court that custodial interrogation is crucial "to uncover the sinister plot" of the terror attacks that led to 166 deaths.
Rana was produced before the court in New Delhi amid tight security late on Thursday night, hours after he was extradited from the US.
