India, Feb. 16 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said on Sunday that recarpeting work on the road between Hero Honda Chowk and Umang Bhardwaj Chowk has begun. Officials said the work will be completed in a week.

"We have started the repair of this road on Saturday and the work will be completed in a week. The GMDA (Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority) has already approved Rs.77 lakh for the repair of this road and has given the mandate to highway authority," said Yogesh Tilak, project director, NHAI.
